Since 1993 I have been specializing in pet portraits.
All I require is a selection of photographs with your opinion of which photograph you prefer
and a sample colour for the background. Most customers prefer me to select both the photograph and
the background colour.
Please send all photographs by post as images sent by e-mail are sometimes not very clear. zoom
camera is best especially for head and shoulders. Please do not take camera shots in profile unless
it is your favourite picture; it is always best to try and catch your pet’s head at a slight angle.
The waiting time from making an order is about 8 weeks. For special occasions (Birthdays, Anniversaries,
Christmas etc.) I like 3 months notice.
When the painting is finished I will e-mail an image of the finished portrait. Once you have received
this I will require the balance due; the order will then be dispatched 5 days later (all cheques to
be made payable to Mart’sArt).
The painting will be sent by Registered Post in a wallpaper like roll. All that will be required of
you is to take your painting to a local framers for it to be stretched and framed.
All paintings are hand painted on quality canvas.
A 30% deposit is required per order; confirmation will be sent by e-mail upon receiving the deposit.
The most popular size canvas for one head and shoulders, two heads and shoulders or one full
body is 12” x 16”.
Customers who live in a 10 mile radius of my home address may have their order stretched and framed.
The price varies depending upon the choice of frame and size. I also offer these customers a
photography service.
